Dental Assistant I (DA I) Cedar Springs Dental – Bunn, NC Pay: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Full-Time Cedar Springs Dental is looking for a dependable, motivated, and personable Dental Assistant I to join our dental team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with patients, works well in a team environment, and is interested in continuing to develop their clinical skills. This is a great opportunity for a newer dental assistant looking to gain hands-on experience in a busy general dental practice. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments and materials for procedures Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment according to office protocols Turn over treatment rooms efficiently between patients Take dental radiographs when qualified to do so Review and update patient medical histories Assist with charting and clinical documentation Provide patients with instructions before and after treatment Maintain appropriate infection-control standards Keep operatories and clinical areas clean, organized, and properly stocked Assist other clinical team members as needed Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the day Provide patients with a friendly, professional, and comfortable experience Qualifications Dental Assistant I qualifications in accordance with North Carolina requirements Dental assisting experience preferred, but motivated newer assistants are encouraged to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, punctual, and organized Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment Willingness to learn and accept feedback Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Compensation & Benefits $19–$23 per hour, based on experience Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Paid time off available after 90 days in accordance with the employee handbook Eligibility to participate in the company health insurance plan Employer health insurance stipend of up to $200 per month toward the employee's monthly premium In-house dental benefits Office production-based monthly bonus opportunity On-the-job learning and opportunity to expand clinical skills About Cedar Springs Dental Cedar Springs Dental is a general dental practice in Bunn, North Carolina.
