Dental Assistant – Restorative & TMD/Occlusion Focused Practice Position: Dental Assistant Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Orland Park IL Schedule: M: 9:30-7:30; T, W 7:30-5:30; TH 7:30 -2:00 About Our Practice We are a patient-centered dental practice focused on comprehensive restorative dentistry, occlusion, and temporomandibular disorders (TMD) . We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Experienced as a dental assistant and comfortable working in a clinical environment Professional, friendly, and confident interacting with patients Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented A strong communicator and team player Comfortable anticipating the doctor's needs during clinical procedures Interested in comprehensive restorative dentistry and occlusion Willing to learn and grow professionally Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way rather than simply doing things quickly Experience with restorative dentistry, complex treatment planning, digital dentistry, photography, and/or dental scanning is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities The Dental Assistant will work closely with the doctor and team and will be involved in a variety of clinical and patient-care responsibilities, including: Assisting during restorative and comprehensive dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment Taking dental radiographs Digital dental photography Digital scanning and impressions Assisting with occlusal and TMD evaluations Sterilization and instrument processing Maintaining clinical supplies and inventory Patient communication and education Helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their appointments Supporting the doctor and team in providing an exceptional patient experience What We Offer A professional, supportive, and team-oriented environment Opportunity to work with a doctor who is committed to comprehensive dentistry and continuing education Opportunities to expand your clinical knowledge and skills A varied clinical experience rather than repetitive, high-volume dentistry Paid vacation Health insurance 401(k) Why Join Our Team?
