Dental Assistant / Endodontic Assistant with Front Desk experience

We are hiring a Dental Assistant / Endodontic Assistant with Front Desk experience to join our modern new endodontic practice in Sunrise, FL. This is a dual-role position ideal for candidates experienced in both chairside assisting and dental front office duties.

Responsibilities

Dental Assistant / Endodontic Duties:

· Assist during root canal therapy and endodontic procedures including surgeries

· Take digital X-rays (radiographs) and CBCT scans

· Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control (OSHA compliant)

· Prepare operatories and support clinical efficiency

· Ensure excellent patient care and comfort

· Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment

· Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean clinical environment

Front Desk / Dental Reception Duties:

· Answer phones and schedule appointments.

· Verify dental insurance and benefits

· Check-in/check-out patients and collect payments

· Manage treatment plans and patient records

· Coordinate with patients regarding procedures and follow-ups

· Set up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures

· Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards

· Understanding of OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations

Requirements:

· Dental Assistant experience (required)

· X-ray certification – Florida (required)

· Experience with Open dental or any PMS

· Knowledge and experience in dental insurance verification and billing

· Strong multitasking and communication skills

Preferred:

· Endodontic experience (highly preferred)

· Experience in a dental front office / receptionist role

· Familiarity with CBCT imaging and specialty practices

· Bilingual English/Spanish but not required.
