Job Summary We are looking for a mature, experienced dental assistant to join our office. Experience as a chairside assistant in a general dental office is required. Job Duties Assist doctors chairside for a variety of restorative procedures including: placing dental dams and sectional matrices for composite fillings, crown preps including placing cord and making temporary crowns, coronal polishing, using an iTero scanner for digital impressions, assisting with patients of all ages from 6 months to 90+ years Take radiographs including BWX, FMX, and Pano Take photos with intra and extra oral cameras Discuss procedures and information with patients to help them feel comfortable and informed Managing disinfection and sterilization protocol for rooms and instruments Limited cross training provided for front office tasks including answering phones, scheduling recall appointments, checking patients in and out Benefits This position comes with competitive pay; starting wage depends on experience and ability to perform job duties.
