Job Summary About Us Memphis Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is a busy, full-scope clinic that helps patients get out of pain when most offices are closed. We see toothaches, infections, implants, endo, dentures and restorative care. A fair part of our community speaks Spanish, and we want every patient to be able to explain their problem and understand their treatment in the language they're most comfortable with. The Role We're looking for a dependable, fast-moving dental assistant to join our evening team. You'll be chairside with the doctor on cases, keep the operatory running smoothly, and be a calm, reassuring presence for patients who are often in pain and anxious. Schedule Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm Weekend shifts available (optional) for those who want extra hours Responsibilities Assist the dentist chairside with procedures Take radiographs (PA, BWX, pano) and intraoral scans Seat patients, take medical histories, record vitals, and prepare them for treatment Interpret for Spanish-speaking patients and explain post-op instructions clearly in both languages Sterilize instruments, turn over operatories, and maintain infection control standards Chart procedures accurately and help with patient flow and scheduling as needed Requirements Fluent in both English and Spanish Tennessee radiology certification Dental assisting experience preferred; emergency or oral surgery experience is a plus Current CPR/BLS certification Able to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and committed to evening availability Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount On-the-job training Work Location: In person
