About us Cafe Smile Studio is a boutique dental practice in Highland Village built around one idea: patients should feel cared for from the moment they walk in. Small team, high standards, no corporate script. We have also opened Cafe Vitality Studio, our body and facial wellness studio, in the same suite, so this role grows as we do. About the role You work chairside with Dr. Neha Gupta through the whole appointment, and you are the person who keeps the clinical side calm and ready. New graduates are welcome. If you have completed your dental assisting program and this would be your first position in a practice, we will gladly train the right person. What you will do Assist chairside during restorative, cosmetic and surgical procedures. Prepare and turn over operatories between patients. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards. Run the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly compliance and equipment checks, and keep the logs current. Take digital radiographs once your Texas RDA registration is active. Capture intraoral photographs and digital scans. Seat patients, explain what to expect, and keep them comfortable. Chart accurately and keep clinical documentation complete. Monitor clinical supplies and flag what needs reordering. Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance in everything you touch. What we are looking for Texas RDA registration, or eligibility and a clear plan to complete it. Current hands-on BLS certification. Online only courses are not accepted by the state board. Graduation from a dental assisting program, or equivalent experience. A quick learner who takes initiative and asks questions rather than working from assumption. Careful, with real attention to detail. You can hold five things at once and drop none of them. Open to feedback and straightforward about mistakes. Warm with patients, dependable, and easy to work alongside. Experience with Fuse is a plus, as is conversational Spanish. Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
