Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Utilize laser technology for periodontal therapy and other applicable procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies. Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures, including those involving laser applications. Take and develop dental radiographs as needed. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with health regulations and practice standards. Ensure the sterilization and proper maintenance of dental instruments and equipment. Provide compassionate patient care while addressing individual needs and concerns. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and laser technology. Requirements Valid license or certification as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations. Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist, with familiarity in using laser technology preferred. Strong knowledge of oral health practices, infection control protocols, and safety procedures. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about oral health. Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage patient records accurately. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with professionalism and compassion.
