Overview: Cornerstone Dental Health is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will work closely with our doctors and teammates to help patients feel comfortable and keep daily patient care running smoothly. If you enjoy hands-on work, pay attention to details, and take pride in helping others, we would love to hear from you. Dental experience is a plus, but is not required—we provide on-the-job training. Recent graduates and candidates looking to begin a career in dentistry are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Do Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable before and during treatment Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures Provide chairside support to our doctors as trained Help communicate patient needs and questions to the dental team Maintain accurate patient records while protecting patient privacy Clean and prepare treatment rooms between appointments Perform instrument sterilization and follow established infection control procedures Restock supplies and keep clinical work areas clean and organized Support teammates and help keep the daily schedule running smoothly What Makes a Great Fit A friendly, reassuring manner and a commitment to patient comfort Excellent communication and customer service skills Dependability and a commitment to being prepared and on time Careful attention to detail and a willingness to follow procedures consistently The ability to stay organized and focused during busy periods Initiative to notice where help is needed and support teammates A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take direction Comfort using computers and learning new systems Experience in customer service, hospitality, caregiving, or other roles requiring care and organization can translate well to dental assisting.
