What We're Looking For: A positive attitude and excellent people skills Strong communication and organizational skills A team player who is dependable and eager to learn Ability to help young patients feel comfortable and cared for 1 year+ experience in dental assisting Qualifications & Skills: Chairside dental assisting experience of 1 year+ Dental radiology certificate Great communication skills Open Dental experience is preferred Detail oriented organizational skills Job Duties: Help young patients learn to love the dental experience Review and update health histories Provide oral hygiene instruction and prophy Expose radiographs using Dexis digital imaging Update patient record, including treatment plans Assist in treatment Review post-op instructions Manage instrument and operatory disinfection and sterilization Assist with basic office upkeep What We Offer: A great team environment Competitive pay based on experience Paid vacation and time off 401k with matching A great opportunity to develop your professional skills Applicants must be available during our normal office hours, which are M-W 7:30am-4pm; additional hours may be available on alternating Thursdays 7:30am-12:30pm.
