Our vision is to become a trusted destination in the community for exceptional dental care, meaningful patient relationships, and an outstanding dental experience. We believe great dentistry starts with a great team. We are seeking an EFDA who takes pride in clinical excellence, values teamwork, and understands the importance of creating a positive, organized, and proactive clinical environment. In this role, you will work closely with the doctor to deliver high-quality care, assist with restorative procedures, place composite restorations within the scope of your credentials, maintain clinical inventory, and help ensure smooth, efficient patient flow. We value team members who anticipate needs, communicate effectively, take initiative, and look for ways to make each patient's visit better. Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence & Doctor Support Assist the doctor chairside during restorative and other dental procedures. Place composite restorations and perform expanded functions within the scope of applicable state regulations and credentials. Anticipate the doctor's needs and maintain a prepared, organized clinical environment. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures. Follow established infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support clear communication throughout the patient's visit. Patient Experience Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their appointments. Communicate with warmth, professionalism, and empathy. Contribute to a positive, reassuring clinical atmosphere that reflects our commitment to exceptional patient care. Treat every patient with respect and attention to detail. Clinical Flow & Teamwork Maintain awareness of the daily schedule and proactively prepare for upcoming procedures. Keep operatories stocked, clean, organized, and ready for the next patient. Collaborate with the front office and clinical team to create a seamless patient experience. Inventory & Organization Monitor clinical supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels. Identify low-stock items and communicate ordering needs before supplies run out. Assist with supply organization, inventory tracking, and maintaining an orderly clinical space. Take ownership of keeping materials and equipment ready for daily operations. What We're Looking For Current EFDA credentials and qualifications required by applicable state regulations. Experience assisting chairside and performing expanded restorative functions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical quality. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for direction. Dependability, accountability, and a willingness to contribute to a growing team. A positive attitude and an interest in helping build something special. What Makes Our Practice Different A growing practice with opportunity: Be part of a team that is actively building its reputation and culture. A collaborative clinical environment: Work alongside a team that values communication, initiative, and mutual support. The opportunity to make an impact: Your ideas, work ethic, and attention to detail will help shape how our practice operates and grows. A shared standard of excellence: We want every patient to feel the difference that thoughtful, coordinated care can make. Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal EFDA is someone who takes ownership of their role, enjoys being an integral part of the clinical team, and understands that exceptional dentistry requires more than technical skill.
