Prosthodontic specialty clinic looking for a skilled, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team and help our patients feel comfortable while delivering excellent care.. Our focus is on full mouth prosthetic rehabilitation treatments and cosmetic makeovers. This is a part-time position, one day a week on ( Fridays, 8-5pm ) Responsibilities Take dental x-rays Take 3D intraoral scans Record patient medical and dental histories Assist dentists during various dental procedures (chairside support) Assist dentist in cleaning procedures by performing polishing and flossing Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Sterilize instruments and equipment Manage inventory and maintain cleanliness of clinical areas Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Manage and maintain accurate patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Must be able to assist with surgical procedures. Experience with implant surgery is preferable. Requirements At least 1 year of experience as a dental assistant Dental Assistant certification or relevant training VA Dental Radiology certification CPR certification Previous dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, instruments and material Strong communication and interpersonal skills Work Location: In person Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week Work Location: In person
