Surgical Dental Assistant Periodontal Care | Prairie Village, KS Full-Time | Monday–Friday | IV Sedation Experience Strongly Preferred Periodontal Care is seeking an experienced Surgical Dental Assistant to join our Prairie Village team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with strong surgical assisting skills, excellent patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced periodontal specialty practice. Qualifications Dental assisting experience in oral surgery, periodontics, or surgical dentistry preferred IV sedation experience, sedation monitoring training, and related credentials strongly preferred Experience with dental implants, extractions, and periodontal surgical procedures Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterilization, and infection control Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to anticipate the doctor's needs and work efficiently as part of a clinical team Responsibilities Provide chairside surgical assistance for dental implants, extractions, and periodontal procedures Assist with IV sedation and patient monitoring within applicable training and credentials Prepare surgical operatories, instruments, and materials Obtain vital signs, dental X-rays, and clinical documentation Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Schedule & Benefits Full-time, Monday through Friday Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 3% employer contribution, subject to eligibility Paid time off and paid holidays Employer-provided scrubs Interested in joining our team?
