Overview We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our dental clinic team. This position involves providing exceptional patient care, supporting orthodontic procedures, and assisting with various clinical tasks. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during patient procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment for patient appointments Perform dental sterilization procedures in accordance with safety protocols Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring proper technique and patient safety Understand and utilize dental terminology accurately in communication and documentation Provide excellent patient care, including patient education and comfort measures Support front desk operations temporarily, with the possibility of transitioning into a clinical assistant role Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control standards Skills Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred Knowledge of dental x-ray procedures and sterilization techniques Familiarity with dental terminology and equipment operation Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable to assist our diverse patient base Excellent communication skills and attention to detail This position offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about dental health and patient service.
