Dental Assistant - Sammamish Endodontics - Sammamish, WA

We are seeking an experienced dental assistant who will ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We are hopeful you are skilled in providing both direct and indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. Responsibilities Welcome patients into the dental office, check them in and assist with any needed paperwork Prepare patients for treatments or appointments while ensuring their comfort Set up instruments, and any/all supplies that will be needed during procedure Sterilize instruments according to proper handling, maintain equipment as needed and described Assist the specialist's throughout the Endodontic procedures & Endo- surgeries Provide & explain post-operative care instructions, according to training provided Keep the dental room(s) clean and well-stocked at all times Schedule appointments as needed Radiographs including CBCT Skills Proven experience as dental assistant, willing to train the right candidate Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform normal tasks of a dental assistant and adaptable to incorporate additional tasks as needed by the organization Great computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred, again willing to train the right candidate Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person
