Full time (4 days). Previous dental experience is preferred, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities. X-ray license required. Job duties would include but not limited to: Greeting patients with a warm welcome, ideally by name Take and process payments Answering various patient questions regarding billing or treatment Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing and faxing. Scheduling patient follow-up or treatment appointments and providing appointment reminders by call or text. Creating and presenting treatment plans Communicating with dental insurance providers to assistant patients in following up on claims/payment. Preparing patients for dental work. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary. Providing great patient care. Recording treatment information in patient records. Taking dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment. Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Caring for dental equipment.
