Dental Assistant â Cosmetic Dental Practice The Smile Bar | Rocky River, OH Weâre looking for an energetic, personable, and compassionate Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing cosmetic and general dental practice! Weâre looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, takes pride in providing exceptional care, and wants to be part of a fun, positive, hardworking team where patients always come first. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during general, restorative, and cosmetic dental procedures Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance Take digital dental X-rays Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Assist with crowns, bridges, fillings, veneers, cleanings and other procedures Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes Follow proper sterilization and infection control protocols Educate patients on post-operative care Maintain clean, organized, and stocked treatment rooms Work closely with the dentist, hygienists, and front-office team to keep the day running smoothly Help create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient What Weâre Looking For Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience REQUIRED Experience with four-handed dentistry and digital X-rays Dentrix Ascend and Eaglesoft experience highly preferred Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Friendly, energetic, and compassionate personality Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player Ability to multitask and work efficiently Cosmetic dentistry experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience No weekends Free dental care for employees Immediate family dental discounts Uniform allowance Growth and advancement opportunities Fun, positive, and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with an expanding cosmetic dental practice At The Smile Bar, we believe great dentistry starts with a great team.
