Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Westminster, MD
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for dental care and assisting in providing top-notch patient experiences. Responsibilities - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Prepare patients for dental work - Take dental x-rays - Manage medical records and documentation - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Maintain a clean and sterile environment for treatments Requirements - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Familiarity with Dental records management - Proficiency in four-handed dentistry - Understanding of anatomy and oral health - Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Experience with 3D scanners for dental impressions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Westminster, MD 21157 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Westminster, MD 21157: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
