We're seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with our orthodontist to deliver exceptional clinical care while helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their orthodontic journey. _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities Include: (1) Clinical Care & Orthodontic Assisting Assist our orthodontist with bonding, adjustments and debonding Changing archwires, placing and removing ligatures, and taking digital scans Capture diagnostic records, including intraoral photographs and radiographs Prepare treatment areas and instruments to ensure efficient patient care (2) Patient Experience & Communication Welcome patients and families, creating a warm, personalized experience Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment instructions Build meaningful relationships with patients while helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout treatment (3) Clinical Operations & Team Support Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and operatory cleanliness Organize and maintain clinical supplies, instruments, and equipment Document treatment notes and update patient records Qualifications & Experience Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred Maryland dental radiology certification and orthodontic assisting qualifications preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional patient care Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn and grow _________________________________________________________________________________________________ Why Join Arbor Orthodontics?
