Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Modesto, CA
```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take x-rays - Perform dental charting and documentation using Dentrix or Open Dental - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records - Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns ```Qualifications``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred - X-ray certification required - Experience with Dentrix or Open Dental softwares preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment - Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
