Husker Dental is looking for an experienced, friendly, and dependable Dental Assistant who is X-ray and prophy certified to join our team! Schedule, Pay & Benefits Pay: $20â$26 per hour, based on experience, skills, and patient-focused attitude 4-day workweek: MondayâThursday, 8:00 AMâ4:30 PM 30-minute paid lunch break SIMPLE IRA with employer match Accrued paid time off (PTO) Complimentary dental care for employees (lab fees excluded) No production or collection goals Small, supportive, team-oriented work environment Modern technology, including the iTero Lumina intraoral scanner What You'll Be Doing Provide chairside assistance during general and restorative dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care. Perform coronal polishing (prophy) within the scope of certification. Take diagnostic dental X-rays. Perform digital intraoral scans using our iTero Lumina scanner. Fabricate temporary crowns and assist with restorative procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care. Maintain accurate dental records and treatment documentation. Follow sterilization and infection-control protocols. Help manage dental supplies and maintain organized treatment rooms. Work collaboratively with the dentist and team to create an excellent patient experience. Qualifications Required: Current coronal polishing (prophy) certification Current dental radiography (X-ray) certification Current CPR certification A positive, compassionate, patient-first attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Dependability, attention to detail, and willingness to help wherever needed Preferred: Previous dental assisting experience Experience with iTero digital scanning Familiarity with Dentrix software Ability to anticipate the dentist's needs and maintain an efficient clinical workflow Why Husker Dental?
