What We’re Looking For Our ideal Dental Assistant is someone who: Genuinely enjoys helping people and providing exceptional patient experiences Has a warm, positive, and friendly personality Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Values efficiency and takes pride in doing things well Works well independently and as part of a team Is comfortable assisting chairside as well as helping with administrative responsibilities Is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the practice Is looking for a long-term position with a hardworking and supportive team Knows how to work hard and have fun while doing it! Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail High school diploma required Graduation from a dental assisting program preferred Additional certifications or training are a plus (EFDA, coronal polishing, etc.) What You’ll Do Your responsibilities may include: Welcoming patients and creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door Preparing patients for treatments and checkups while ensuring their comfort Setting up instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures Assisting the dentist through four-handed dentistry Maintaining proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Completing lab tasks as needed Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keeping treatment rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked Scheduling and confirming appointments Maintaining accurate patient records Assisting with payments and other administrative duties ❤ Why Maven Smile Design?
