Dental Surgical Assistant We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Surgical Assistant to join our periodontal team 2 - 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday). The ideal candidate will work closely with the surgical doctor to support smooth, efficient, and patient-centered dental procedures. Responsibilities Assist the surgical doctor during periodontal and dental procedures Prepare, organize, and sterilize dental instruments Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized clinical environment Prepare treatment rooms and surgical materials Support patient comfort and provide compassionate care throughout appointments Follow infection-control and sterilization protocols Assist with post-procedure instructions and patient needs Collaborate effectively with the dental team Qualifications Valid New Jersey dental X-ray license required Previous dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and infection control Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach Ability to work effectively in a surgical dental environment No weekends Pay: From $28.00 per hour License/Certification: New Jersey Dental x-ray license (Required) Work Location: In person
