With Dr. Nicholas Emmi joining our team , we're excited to continue expanding our practice and are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to grow right along with us. We're a family-owned practice, not a corporate dental chain, and we're looking for someone who loves dentistry, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a team where their contributions really matter. And yes, you'll have Friday afternoons off! Let's start with the important stuff Pay: Starting at $22/hour, with higher compensation available based on experience and qualifications. Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a full one-hour lunch Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM Full-time, approximately 37 hours per week Why work with us? You'll get to do more than just pass instruments. Our assistants are involved in patient care from start to finish, including digital imaging, intraoral photography, restorative procedures, crowns, extractions, digital scanning, and patient education. What you'll be doing Providing chairside assistance during general, restorative, and other dental procedures Preparing and maintaining operatories, instruments, and equipment Taking diagnostic X-rays and intraoral photographs Assisting with digital impressions and scanning Reviewing patient information and supporting accurate clinical documentation Educating patients on treatment and post-operative care Following proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Helping keep the day organized and running smoothly alongside our doctors and clinical team What we're looking for Required: At least 1 year of hands-on dental assisting experience Current dental X-ray certification Strong chairside assisting skills Excellent communication and patient-care skills Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team A plus, but not required: Experience with Dentrix Ascend Digital scanning, CBCT, and intraoral photography experience Experience assisting with crown and bridge, endodontics, extractions, and other restorative procedures Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things well, is willing to learn, and genuinely cares about the patients and people they work with.
