Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Henrico, VA
Dental Assistant Ideal Smile Dentistry is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Take dental X-rays (if certified) Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Update and maintain accurate patient records Set up and break down operatories Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed Work closely with the dental team to provide outstanding patient care Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred X-ray certification is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software is a plus Schedule Monday, Thursday, and Friday Occasional Sundays (approximately one Sunday per month) Pay $19-$22 per hour for experienced Dental Assistants If you're passionate about helping patients and want to be part of a growing dental practice, we'd love to hear from you!
