Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Parkway Dental | Reston, VA Pay: $60–$65 per hour | Part-Time | 1–2 Days per Week About Us Parkway Dental is a privately owned, modern general dental practice in Reston, Virginia. We're a growing practice focused on delivering high-quality, personalized dental care in a friendly and collaborative environment. We're looking for a personable, motivated, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis. We believe in providing thorough care without rushing patients. Our goal is to build long-term relationships while creating a comfortable, positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and preventive treatments. Assess periodontal health, accurately document clinical findings, and collaborate with the dentist on appropriate treatment recommendations. Obtain diagnostic radiographs and maintain accurate patient records. Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal disease, and preventive care. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment in accordance with infection control guidelines. Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental assistants to provide efficient, patient-centered care. Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their dental treatment. Qualifications Active Virginia Registered Dental Hygienist license. Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented. Experience with Open Dental is a plus, but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $60–$65 based on experience. Consistent part-time schedule of 1–2 days per week. 60-minute adult hygiene appointments to allow for thorough, unhurried care.
