Our growing pediatric dental office is looking for a friendly, reliable Pediatric Dental Assistant who enjoys helping kids feel comfortable at the dentist. We are a modern, fast-growing practice focused on creating a stress-free and positive experience for every child. What you will do : Assist the dentist during pediatric procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take dental X-Rays Help children feel comfortable during treatment Educate parents and kids about oral hygiene Maintain patient charts and assist with appointment flow Keep up with all certifications for OSHA, HIPAA, Medical Waste, & Spore Testing What we are looking for : Dental Assistant experience preferred Friendly, patient, and great with kids and their parents Reliable and a Team Player Strong Communication Skills Days and Hours : Monday and Thursday 9am-6pm, Wednesday 8:30am-5pm One Tuesday per month 2pm-6pm One Sunday per month 9am-3pm Compensation Dependent on Experience and Attitude Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Experience: Pediatric Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required) Open Dental: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Bronx, NY 10463 (Required) Work Location: In person
