We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time entry-level dental assistant to join our dynamic team at an established, full-scope oral surgery practice located in the beautiful city of Lake Oswego. This is an exciting opportunity for both EFDA-eligible dental assistants and recent graduates with a few years of hands-on experience to grow their careers in a specialized and supportive environment.
As a vital member of our surgical team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with a wide range of advanced oral and maxillofacial procedures. Your responsibilities will include providing chairside assistance during surgical procedures such as dentoalveolar surgery (including extractions and bone grafting), dental implant placement, and soft tissue biopsies. You will also have the unique opportunity to assist our surgeon in the operating room for more complex maxillofacial cases as you gain experience and build confidence in your role. This position offers a rare chance to work with both pediatric and adult patients, providing a diverse and enriching clinical experience.
Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in basic life support (BLS) certification and radiology certification, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
