Boulevard Dental Esthetics is a privately owned, boutique family dental practice in Encino. Itâs recently been bought out by the long established associate dentist, Dr. Dean, and is getting rebranded to âDean Dentistryâ. We are revamping the entire office. New design, new cloud based practice management software called âthe dental appâ which provides all the functions we need for patient communication, billing, insurance verification, scheduling, etc. Fully digital office with scanners, sensors, lasers and handheld X-ray units. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment. Unlike high-volume corporate offices, we believe in quality over quantity. Many of our patients have been with us for decades, and weâve built lasting relationships with generations of families. As our practice enters an exciting new chapter under new ownership, weâre looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become a valued member of our small, close-knit team consisting of 1 doctor, one front office and 1-2 assistants. About the Position Weâre seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) who takes pride in their work, genuinely cares about patients, and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Doctor mainly performs restorative work (crowns, fillings, veneers), simple extractions and hygiene and works out of one chair only, no double bookings. We will eventually bring an endodontist and periodontist on designated days to provide care. Weâre looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, comfortable with technology, and eager to develop their clinical skills. Responsibilities include: Providing chairside assistance during general and cosmetic dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring efficient patient flow Taking digital X-rays and intraoral scans (with appropriate qualifications) Fabricating temporary crowns and assisting with impressions and restorative procedures, within the applicable scope of practice Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols Organizing, stocking, and maintaining dental supplies and equipment Educating patients on procedures and post-operative instructions Helping create a comfortable, welcoming experience for every patient Working closely with the dentist and front office to ensure smooth daily operations Who Weâre Looking For Warm, personable, and genuinely passionate about patient care Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and anticipate the dentistâs needs A team player who values a positive, respectful work environment Dental assisting experience preferred; RDA certification is a plus Experience with digital scanning, temporary restorations, and cosmetic dentistry is highly valued Most importantly, we value attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
