An established Dental Practice looking for a dental assistant for assisting the General dentist chairside. We are a patient focused dental practice committed to providing honest and ethical dental care. Our goal is to make sure every patient walks out with a pleasant dental experience and we need someone who is passionate, sincere and hardworking. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn new things and thus grow with the practice with time. Qualifications: - Open Dental software experience is a plus - High school or equivalent (Preferred) - Preferably Bilingual in Spanish and English Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: - Four-handed chairside assisting - Take panoramic x rays for new patients - Prepare the work area for treatment and exam procedures - Take digital x rays of patient’s teeth as necessary and display results for dentist - Assist dentist during examinations and dental procedures - When not assisting the Dentist, call patients to schedule appointments and answer phone calls - Be able to take traditional impressions - Set up case pans and pack the cases into the shipment boxes for lab pickup - Provide patient education on good oral hygiene habits - Restock treatment areas and monitor dental inventory - Maintain a clean and presentable environment throughout the office facility - tardiness is a must!
