Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Manassas, VA
Responsibilities: - Assist orthodontist with various procedures and treatments - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays and other medical imaging - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care - Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures - ITERO scans for orthodontic appliances Requirements: - Dental X-ray certification and one year of experience or more as an orthodontic assistant - Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy - Proficient in taking dental x-rays and other medical imaging - Familiarity with medical documentation systems - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be a team player Hours, Monday 9 am- 6 pm- Manassas, Tuesday 9 am- 6 pm Manassas, one Wednesday a month from 9 am- 5 pm , Thursday 7 am- 4 pm- Manassas, , one Saturday per month from 8 am to 1 pm- Manassas. We are open 1-2 days a week at our Fredericksburg location. We would prefer someone to travel to both locations however, we would be okay if the candidate wanted to work in Manassas only at the hours listed above.
