About Us
We are a small general practice in the San Gabriel Valley and we are looking for an entry level dental assistant to help doctor provide exceptional care for our patients. Our focus is for a personal experience and providing a comforting atmosphere. We want every patient to feel like family as we attend to their oral health care.
The position is for 4 days a week Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm. We want you to be able to communicate well with patients, doctor, staff and vendors. Organization, attention to detail , following OSHA guideline, anticipate doctors needs and being able to provide patients with a positive experience will be your goal.
Qualifications
- Dental assistant certification
- CPR card
- Certificate for Infection control, Dental Pradctice act, Radiation X-ray certificate
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- Familiar with Dentrix and Dexis
Duties
- Take an FMX with diagnosable images
- Provide chairside duties with doctor during patient care.
- Prepare operatories, disinfect and sterilize instruments.'
- Manintain dental mcachines, tools and handpieces.
- Take impressions , pour up models and trim them.
- Perform inventory of all dental supplies and order them.
- Maintain office flow.
- Light housekeeping.
