We are in need of a detail-oriented, patient-focused Dental Assistant with 1-2 years chairside assisting experience. Prepare exam rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist Assist dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs throughout the appointment Take and process X-rays of patients Complete lab work Greet patients as they arrive and schedule patient appointments Take billing and insurance details from patients Update and maintain client's dental records Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments Experience administering dental X-rays Technical skills and proficiency with dental, scheduling, office and other software Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments Organizational and multi-tasking skills, general office aptitude Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Expected hours: 18.0 – 36.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
