**At least 5 years of experience working in a dental practice REQUIRED** A Message From Dr. Zack Youngblood When I created MDRN MUSE Dental Aesthetics, I had one goal in mind: to change the way people experience dentistry. For far too long, dentistry has been associated with fear, anxiety, rushed appointments, and patients feeling like just another number on the schedule. I wanted to create something different. A place where patients feel genuinely heard, respected, comfortable, and excited about taking care of themselves. At MDRN MUSE, we're challenging what the traditional dental experience looks and feels like. We're building a practice where patient-first care isn't just something we talk about. It's the foundation of everything we do. And that experience doesn't begin when a patient sits in my dental chair. It begins with the very first phone call, the first interaction at our front desk, and every conversation that follows. That's why I'm looking for an exceptional Patient Advocate to join our growing team. I'm not simply looking for someone to answer phones and schedule appointments. I'm looking for someone who shares my vision for what dentistry can become. Someone who genuinely cares about people, takes pride in creating meaningful relationships, and understands that even the smallest interaction can completely change how a patient feels about visiting the dentist. If you're passionate about dentistry, love connecting with patients, and want to be part of a practice that's doing things differently, I would love to meet you. – Dr. Zack Youngblood Founder & Dentist, MDRN MUSE Dental Aesthetics About the Position Our Patient Advocate is one of the most important roles in our practice. You will serve alongside our existing patient advocate as a primary connection between our patients and our clinical team, helping ensure every individual who interacts with MDRN MUSE feels welcomed, informed, and genuinely cared for. This position combines traditional dental front office responsibilities with proactive patient engagement, schedule management, and relationship building. We're looking for someone who understands that patient care extends far beyond the clinical appointment. Sometimes it means taking extra time to answer a nervous patient's questions. Other times it means reaching out to someone who has postponed treatment and helping them feel comfortable taking the next step. The right person will be proactive, organized, personable, and confident in their dental knowledge. What You'll Be Doing Creating an Exceptional Patient Experience Welcome every patient with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm. Manage patient check-in and check-out while making each interaction feel personal and effortless. Build meaningful relationships with patients and help foster an environment where they feel comfortable and valued. Serve as a trusted resource for patients who have questions about their appointments, treatment, or overall dental experience. Consistently represent the elevated level of care that defines MDRN MUSE. Managing & Optimizing Our Schedule Coordinate and maintain an organized, productive daily appointment schedule. Confirm upcoming appointments and communicate important appointment details. Proactively identify opportunities to fill openings and minimize unused appointment time. Manage appointment cancellations, rescheduling, and scheduling adjustments. Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure the schedule supports both exceptional patient care and practice efficiency. Patient Engagement & Reactivation Reach out to patients who have unscheduled treatment and help them return to complete their recommended care. Reconnect with patients who haven't visited our office recently. Follow up with patients interested in cosmetic, restorative, and comprehensive dental treatment. Build trust through thoughtful conversations that help patients feel informed and confident about their treatment decisions. Recognize opportunities to improve patient retention and maintain long-term patient relationships. Professional Communication Answer incoming phone calls with a polished, friendly, and professional voice. Respond to patient inquiries, voicemails, and digital communications promptly. Help prospective patients understand our services and what makes the MDRN MUSE experience different. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members. Maintain a positive, calm, and solutions-focused approach, even during busy moments. What I'm Looking For Required Qualifications At least 5 years of experience working in a dental practice. Experience can come from dental front office, dental assisting, treatment coordination, or a combination of clinical and administrative dental positions. Strong understanding of dental terminology, procedures, and daily practice operations. Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and independently manage responsibilities. Comfortable using dental software, digital scheduling systems, and modern communication tools. A genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care. Preferred Qualifications Experience with dental scheduling and patient reactivation. Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment coordination. Experience with CareStack or similar practice management software. Previous experience working in a cosmetic or comprehensive dental practice. The Kind of Person Who Will Thrive Here I'm a firm believer that attitude, personality, and work ethic are just as important as professional experience. I'm looking for someone who: Genuinely loves people. You don't see patient interactions as tasks to complete. You see them as opportunities to make someone's day better. Takes ownership. You recognize what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting to be asked. Pays attention to the details. You understand that little things make a big difference in how patients perceive their experience. Is confident but compassionate. You can communicate clearly and professionally while understanding that dental care can be an emotional experience for many people. Believes in teamwork. You understand that creating an exceptional practice requires everyone working toward the same goal. Wants to grow. You're excited to be part of a growing practice and contribute ideas that make us better. Why MDRN MUSE? I didn't create MDRN MUSE to build just another dental office. I created it because I believe dentistry has the potential to be something much more meaningful. Our office was intentionally designed to challenge the expectations people have about visiting the dentist. From the atmosphere we've created to the technology we use and the way we communicate, every detail is meant to make patients feel differently about their care. We're a growing, independently owned dental practice with a strong focus on cosmetic dentistry, comprehensive care, and long-term patient relationships. But what makes us different isn't simply our technology or the appearance of our office. It's how we make people feel. I want every patient who walks through our doors to feel that they're part of something special. And I want our team members to feel the same way. This is an opportunity to join a practice where your contributions matter, your ideas are valued, and your ability to make a positive impact on someone's life is recognized every single day. Ready to Be Part of Something Different? If you have at least five years of dental experience, believe patients deserve more from their dental care, and want to help us raise the standard for dentistry in Chattanooga, I encourage you to apply. I'm looking forward to meeting the person who will help us continue building something truly special.
