What Youâll Do Assist the doctor chairside with exams, restorative treatment, extractions, and nitrous or sedation cases Take pediatric radiographs and intraoral photos Welcome and seat patients, and help little ones feel calm and comfortable Go over post-op and home care instructions with parents Chart accurately in Open Dental Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments following OSHA and infection control standards Help keep the office stocked, organized, and running smoothly Requirements At least 3 years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience strongly preferred) Current Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) registration Current CPR/BLS certification Comfortable taking pediatric x-rays Patience, warmth, and a genuine love for working with kids Strong communication skills with children and parents Dependable, punctual, and a true team player Preferred Nitrous oxide monitoring, coronal polish, and/or sealant certifications Bilingual in English and Spanish Benefits 401(k) with matching Health Insurance Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
