Permanent Dental Assistant Job in El Paso, TX
Overview We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 2â3 years of clinical experience, possesses strong chairside assisting skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced general dentistry environment. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient care. Duties Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance during general and restorative dental procedures. Assist with crown and bridge procedures, extractions, endodontics, and other dental treatments. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures. Take high-quality digital dental radiographs. Obtain preliminary impressions and digital scans when appropriate. Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance. Educate patients on procedures, postoperative instructions, and oral healthcare. Assist with patient charting and accurate clinical documentation. Monitor inventory and maintain adequate supplies in treatment rooms. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient clinical environment. Work collaboratively with the dentist, hygienists, and administrative team to ensure smooth patient flow. Requirements Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) registration required. Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures and dental terminology. Proficiency in digital radiography and chairside assisting. Experience with digital impressions and intraoral scanners is a plus. Experience assisting with surgical procedures and implant dentistry is a plus. Familiarity with Open Dental software preferred but not required. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to multitask, anticipate the dentist's needs, and work efficiently. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week Work Location: In person
