Orthodontic Assistant Trax Orthodontics is looking for an energetic, dependable, and personable Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team! We are a modern, busy orthodontic practice with a fun, team-oriented atmosphere. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, takes pride in providing excellent care, and can thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. What You’ll Do Assist the orthodontist with patient care and procedures Seat patients and prepare them for treatment Take digital scans, photographs, and X-rays Perform orthodontic assisting duties within the Ohio scope of practice Provide excellent patient education and instructions Maintain accurate clinical records and charting Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas Turn over chairs efficiently between patients Help keep the clinical schedule running smoothly and on time Communicate with parents and patients in a friendly, professional manner Work closely with the doctor and the rest of the Trax team Who We’re Looking For We want someone who is: Friendly, upbeat, and great with both kids and adults Reliable and punctual Organized and able to multitask Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed Professional while still having a fun personality Confident communicating with patients and parents Interested in becoming a long-term part of our practice Orthodontic or dental assisting experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to consider the right candidate with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Schedule Our practice operates on a 3-day-per-week clinical schedule, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding dental career with a schedule that provides more days away from the office.
