Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) A&Z Dental Care | Euclid, Ohio Full-Time or Part-Time | Competitive Pay A&Z Dental Care is looking for a skilled, dependable, and friendly Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) to join our team! We are a dentist-owned and operated private practice in Euclid, Ohio. We take pride in providing quality dental care while maintaining a welcoming, supportive, and team-oriented workplace. Responsibilities Perform expanded-function restorative procedures within the scope authorized by the Ohio State Dental Board. Assist the dentist with general dental procedures and four-handed dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and dental materials. Take dental radiographs when appropriately certified. Follow proper sterilization, infection control, and patient safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft. Communicate professionally with patients and team members to ensure a positive experience. Qualifications Completion of an EFDA training program and authorization to perform EFDA duties in Ohio, or eligibility to obtain the required Ohio credentials. Experience in restorative dentistry preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care. Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude. Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus, but not required.
