Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Longview, WA
Job Summary Support dental care delivery by assisting with patient care, preparing and handling dental equipment, and applying dental terminology and infection prevention practices. This role calls for dental clinic experience and familiarity with dental x-rays, sterilization procedures, and patient management software. Responsibilities Assist with patient care and support patient management throughout dental visits. Support four-handed dentistry and use dental equipment in the clinical setting. Take dental x-rays as appropriate to the role and follow applicable procedures. Perform dental instrument sterilization and follow healthcare infection prevention and control practices. Familiarity with dental x-rays, dental terminology, dental equipment, and patient management software. Knowledge of dental sterilization procedures, healthcare infection prevention and control, and infection prevention management. Ability to support patient care and four-handed dentistry. BLS.
