Join Us in Building Something Special! Cui & Lin Orthodontics is a newly established, private doctor-owned orthodontic practice in the heart of Kakaʻako, Honolulu. We're a husband-and-wife orthodontist team building a different kind of dental experience—one that's modern, intentionally personal, and centered around genuine relationships with our patients. As a growing practice, we're looking for a positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic team member who loves working with people and isn't afraid to wear multiple hats. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn and grow alongside us. If you're someone who naturally makes people feel welcome, notices the little things, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team, we'd love to meet you! About the Role This is a dynamic, hands-on position where no two days will look exactly alike. As a small startup practice, we work collaboratively and help each other wherever needed. Depending on the day's needs, you may find yourself welcoming patients at the front desk, helping with administrative tasks, preparing treatment rooms, or assisting our doctors with clinical procedures as you receive appropriate training. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and sees every task—big or small—as an opportunity to contribute to the patient experience. We are a brand new start up practice, so we are looking for someone who aligns with our vision. What You'll Be Doing Patient Experience & Hospitality Welcome patients and families with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm. Help create a comfortable, thoughtful, and memorable experience from arrival to departure. Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and assist with scheduling/insurance. Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families. Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting office environment. Clinical & Orthodontic Support Assist our orthodontists with patient care as training and qualifications allow. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies. Learn about orthodontic procedures, digital scanning, and modern orthodontic technology. Assist with sterilization and infection-control procedures. Support efficient patient flow throughout the day. Administrative & Team Support Help coordinate appointments and patient communications. Assist with patient records, documentation, and general office organization. Monitor and restock supplies. Support community outreach, office events, and occasional social media or marketing initiatives. Jump in wherever help is needed to keep the practice running smoothly. Who We're Looking For Personality and mindset matter most to us! Our ideal candidate is someone who: Radiates positivity: Brings a friendly, upbeat attitude to work and helps create a welcoming environment. Is hospitality-minded: Genuinely enjoys helping people and understands how small details can make a big difference. Is adaptable: Comfortable switching between different responsibilities and helping wherever needed. Is eager to learn: Curious, coachable, and excited to develop new skills, even without previous orthodontic experience. Takes initiative: Notices what needs to be done and takes ownership without always waiting to be asked. Is a team player: Believes that no task is beneath them and that everyone contributes to the success of the practice. Is detail-oriented: Takes pride in doing things carefully, accurately, and consistently. Communicates well: Friendly, professional, dependable, and comfortable interacting with patients of all ages. Has a growth mindset: Excited to be part of a startup environment and help shape the culture of a growing practice. Qualifications Previous dental or orthodontic experience is a plus. Experience in hospitality, customer service, healthcare, or other people-facing roles is highly valued. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Comfortable learning new technology and software. Dependable, punctual, and willing to take on different responsibilities. Willingness to complete necessary training and follow clinical safety protocols. We are happy to train the right person! Why Join Cui & Lin Orthodontics? We're not a large corporate dental office. We're a small, independently owned practice where every team member has a voice and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Grow with us: Join during our early stages and help shape the practice as we grow. Learn new skills: Gain exposure to both the clinical and administrative sides of orthodontics. Work directly with the doctors: Collaborate closely with our two orthodontists in a supportive, hands-on environment. Modern technology: Experience digital orthodontics, 3D imaging, intraoral scanning, and innovative treatment techniques. Personal connections: Get to know patients and their families rather than feeling like you're working on an assembly line. Supportive culture: Be part of a team that values kindness, collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. A Little More About Us At Cui & Lin Orthodontics, we believe exceptional orthodontic care is about more than straight teeth. It's about the relationships we build, the attention we give, and the experience patients have every time they walk through our doors. We take pride in being a small, thoughtfully designed practice where patients never feel rushed and where every detail matters. We're looking for someone who shares that philosophy and wants to help us bring it to life. How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction telling us a little about yourself and why you're interested in joining a small, growing orthodontic practice as well as 3 professional references. We'd especially love to hear about any experiences you've had in customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or other roles where you've helped create a positive experience for others. We look forward to meeting you! Cui & Lin Orthodontics Kakaʻako | Honolulu, Hawaiʻi www.cuiandlinortho.com info@cuiandlinortho.com Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: In person
