Overview Join our dental team as an Associate General Dentist and provide focused care on Saturdays. You’ll assess patients, diagnose dental conditions, explain treatment options, and deliver general dentistry with attention to safety, comfort, and clear communication. Your impact: Thorough assessment and timely treatment help patients make informed decisions and maintain their oral health. Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and dental diagnosis; document findings and treatment in accurate medical records. Provide general dentistry, including dental extractions and root canal therapy, and support care involving prosthodontics, orthodontics, dental implants, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry within your scope. Use medical imaging and apply aseptic technique and infection control practices. Communicate care plans using clear client communication and appropriate dental and medical terminology. Follow HIPAA requirements and applicable state healthcare regulations; collaborate with the dental team, including through four-handed dentistry. Requirements Required: Current authorization to practice dentistry in the applicable jurisdiction and ability to provide safe, patient-centered care. Knowledge of anatomy, healthcare diagnosis, anesthesiology, pediatrics, and patient care; familiarity with dental fabrication is helpful. Dental office or dental clinic experience is preferred. Experience with Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred; ability to maintain medical documentation is essential. Apply sound judgment and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
