Job Summary

Duties

• Lead chairside assisting, including four-handed dentistry, and prepare dental equiment, instrumens, and rooms for procedure. 
• Support patient management, take vital signs, and assist with dental x-rays and other dental imaging, including use of a 3D scanner as needed. 
• Maintain dental documentation and patient management software; follow HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. 
• Oversee inventory, ensure dental insturments, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and stocked. 
• Help maintain a positive patient experience by ensuring patients feel comfortable and well care for. 
• Lead by example throught professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and excellent patient care. 

Skills 

• Experience with Dentrix or other dental patient management software. 
• Dental clinic experience; patient care; chairside assisting; dental terminology and infection control. 
• Familiarity with dental x-ray procedure, dental sterilization procedures, and dental documentation. 
• 3-5 years general dentistry, cosmetic, and oral surgery experience; dental terminology and Cerec knowledge.
