Dental hygiene month continues through the end of October.

As we wrap up National Dental Hygiene Month, the ADHA reminds us that when we work together, our impact reaches far beyond the operatory.

Week 3 Recap: The Power of Partnership

Last week focused on collaboration with fellow hygienists, dentists, educators, legislators, and industry partners and how teamwork propels our profession forward.

Through partnerships with organizations like Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals Inc., hygienists gained access to new CE resources and case studies that support evidence-based care. 

The ADHA Foundation also partnered with Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® to expand mobile dentistry volunteering, giving hygienists a chance to deliver care in underserved communities.

Advocacy plays a key role as well. From ADHA’s partnership with Lobbyit — advancing oral health priorities on Capitol Hill — to ADHA25 Podversations, which shared how members and peers are shaping the future of dentistry, Week 3 highlighted how strong relationships create lasting change.

Now in Week 4, we’re celebrating the people who keep this profession strong — you!

This week’s focus, “The Power of Our Profession,” is an invitation to take pride in your work, advocate for your peers, and help shape what comes next.
