We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience to join our dental team at Bazos Dental. Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crown preparations and placements.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Take digital radiographs (x-rays).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate dental records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and standards.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures, including the pouring and trimming of models and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Assist in managing and maintaining dental supplies and inventory.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Registered Dental Assistant certification in California.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice.
• Proficient in dental procedures and assisting dentists in various treatments.
• Excellent knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients on oral health.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with dental software systems for recordkeeping and scheduling is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
