Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our PRIVATE PRACTICE dedicated team.

This position is for Monday - Wednesday 8:30 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.

• **We are looking for punctual/dependable staff*** Our office is not open as many days as other offices therefore, do NOT apply unless you consider yourself very punctual/dependable in terms of coming to work each day on time. We are only looking for the most reliable applicants to join our team

Expanded Function Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

Must feel comfortable placing all classes of composite restorations for patients

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

· Searching for candidates that already have experience assisting

· Ability to speak Spanish is an added benefit

· Prepare and set up for dental procedures

· Welcome and engage with patients before, during, and after procedures.

· Review and update health histories and patient records

· Work with providers to maintain a pleasant and productive environment

· Take digital X-rays for patients

· Prepare treatment sheets and other office duties as assigned

· Assist the doctor during various general dentistry procedures, as well as some experience with orthodontic assisting

· Take alginate impressions 

· Make temporary crowns for patients
