Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Bellevue, WA

Established private practice seeking a dental assistant who will help make our growing practice more efficient and complete! Small office in the heart of downtown Bellevue! We are looking for a full time assistant (32 hours a week min) We are open Monday-Thursday from 7am to 4pm. We value quality over quantity and take pride in making sure our patients are #1 priority. Easy going patients, HELPFUL Dr. and laid back atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming patient in the ops, seating and reviewing patient info.
- Assisting the doctor chairside -He loves to do a lot himself, Great Team Mate ;)
- Treatment planning (with front desk's help)
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed for procedures
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Undertake other tasks as instructed
- Keeping OPs clean and well-stocked and organized
- Ordering and help monitoring OTC supplies
- Helping the front desk with light duties
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant BUT willing to train! *New grad welcome to Apply!*
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills - knowledge of Eaglesoft preferred but not required. Will train!
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail, well-organized and reliable
- HS diploma/GED
- Certified in Assisting and X-rays.
