Dental Hygienist needed in our dental office!

*PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE RDH LICENSE*

We have a PART TIME position available for a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) at our busy, friendly, and modern family dental office in Pasadena. Flexible work days and number of days per week. Please inquire for details.

-Our hygienists typically see 6-9 patients a day, with child prophies scheduled for 30min, adult prophy/perio maintenance for 1 hour, and SRP's typically 1 hour per quad to provide adequate working time.

-No pressure to "sell" anything to patients. We expect our hygienists to provide honest, quality, and gentle care.

-Digital radiographs (Dexis), electronic patient charts (Dentrix), and modern equipment

Requirements:

1) Active RDH license in good standing with the dental board

2) 1 year experience preferred but not mandatory

3) Must be proficient with taking digitial radiographs

4) Must be proficient with local anesthesia and solid technique for profound anesthesia for scaling and root planing when needed

5) Gentle and caring, meticulous and thorough yet works efficiently
