Responsibilities:

• Providing dental health education about tooth care and diet
• Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth
• Applying prophylactic/antibiotic materials, fissure sealants, topical fluorides to help prevent tooth decay
• Carrying out screening and monitoring procedures
