Position: Dental Assistant

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:

As a Dental Assistant at Dr. Kosta's Dental Office, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting our dentists in providing top-notch care to our valued patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
• Greeting and preparing patients for their appointments with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Taking and developing X-rays as necessary.
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program is a plus.
• Coronal Polishing Certificate
• X-ray certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, compassionate personality.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A commitment to patient care and comfort.
