Dental Assistant

Frisco Dental office looking for an enthusiastic person filled with positive attitude and a strong drive to learn. We have a family atmosphere and would like to have someone that will fit in our office culture.

Required: Current RDA License & Active CPR Certification. Flexible to work on alternate Saturdays, 9 - 2 pm

Skills Required:

Basic Computer skills, Enthusiasm and a positive attitude, Good communication skills (on the phone and in person, both)Ability to follow policy and procedure, Ability to multi-task, Attention to Detail, Resourceful when given an unfamiliar task, Bi-lingual a plus but not required, Nitrous Oxide certification

Duties:

Assisting the doctor with patient treatment, discussing treatment and payment options with patients, taking photos, and taking impressions. Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment and operators, Prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient, Obtain patients' dental records, Maintain patient comfort (keep patients' mouths dry and clear), Prepare materials for impressions and restorations, Complete radiographic images and intra-oral photos, Communicate effectively with team and patient, Answering phones, taking/confirming appointments, checking and filing insurance claims (Training will be provided), writing letters, light cleaning duties.
Professional attire and etiquette is required. This is an excellent opportunity with room to grow.

CDA/RDA License Required:

• Yes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• dental assistant: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
