Dental Assistant needed in our dental office

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Who We Are

Well established Scottsdale office is looking for a dental assistant. We work Monday - Thursday, 8-5 with an hour lunch. We are willing to train, new grads are welcome to apply.

Duties include: 

• Prepares treatment room and instrument and tray setups for dental procedures.
• Greets and prepares patient for treatment.
• Take digital dental radiographs.
• Assists dentist with dental procedures.
• Conducts work in compliance with office guidelines and polices.
• Places cord.
• Able to take preliminary impressions.
• Assists dentist with placement and removal of temporary crowns and bridge.
• Provides post op instruction prescribed by the dentist.
• Actively participates in the achievement of patient satisfaction.
• Achievement of office goals by working efficiently and providing a high level of patient service.
• Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Great work ethic
• Must have integrity and be dependable.
• Be professional in appearance, behavior, and communication.
• Minimum 1-year Dental Assisting experience.
• Willing to learn.
• Must hold a Radiology Certificate
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of Dentrix helpful)
• Current CPR Certificate
• Excellent Communication Skills

Hourly pay rate based on ability and experience.
